My baby is due that week as well. I’ve put my registry together but I’m holding back to purchase stuff and send the registry (although it’s super difficult to say the least). 
In the end, it’s up to you. You can hold off and see if someone else will get it for you. My dad bought the play pen for my first baby and my in-laws came together for her crib.

I'm 12 weeks and sooo tempted to buy things. It's so hard. I already bought some winter outfits. I'm going to try to wait till at least 25 weeks to buy the big stuff. I keep telling myself to not that far away 😆

If u have the space to put it, go for if. I havent bought anything yet cuz we have a small apt & we havent decluttered etc so we have no space for anything yet. Im waiting to feel less exhausted before i start making space & buying baby stuff.
