Next steps?

So me & my partner have been ttc for over two years now, 1 year ago I was diagnosed with PCOS. The hospital told me to come back in a year (next month) after losing some weight. Has anyone been through the same thing and/or know what the next steps are, such as will they put me on medication before going through the IVF stage?

Yes they’ll have you do a HSG to make sure your tubes aren’t blocked, then they’ll  put you on femara or clomid to ovulate and possibly a trigger shot to release the egg.

Just did ivf and have had pcos for 20 years. I was on menopur and gonal for about 10 days to stimulate then novarel for trigger shot 2 days before retrieval. Had implantation 5 days later and a trigger shot that night. Also started progesterone and estriadol 4 days before implantation. Got positive bfp today! I couldn't lose weight due to pcos and my doctor understood that. Try keto or low carb diet if you have insulin resistance and get on metformin
