Vitamin D supplements?

breastfeeding moms- are you giving vitamin D supplement drops to your babies? If so, how early did you start? Recommended brands? TIA!

Yes we started after our 2 week check up at my pediatrician's recommendation. We use these Ddrops Baby 400 IU, Vitamin D, 90 Drops 2.5mL (0.08 fl.oz) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003CT36NE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_zSB-CbZDZYPCH
We like them because they are preservative free and you only need a single drop instead of a whole syringe full. You can put the drop right on your nipple or tip of your finger so it's really easy to administer.

After the first week checkup I started giving my son tri-vi-sol (by enfamil). It's A,C & D vitamin drops. Dr. Recommended and he takes it very well. The only thing I'd say is I chose not to order it from Amazon. Lately I've noticed lots of complaints regarding fake and expired items and we only want the best for our babies.

Yes we got a sample from our pediatrician at the 2 week appt with Enfamil brand. At first it was tricky trying to get him to take the entire ml and how fast to give it but now he seems to like it as long as we give it slowly.

We use brauer kids liquid vitamin d recommended by our pediatrician because you just need to put a drop on your nipple before breastfeeding it’s vanilla cupcake flavor so smells yum and my little one loves it 😊 have been giving it daily since we got home from hospital

I started when we got home from the hospital, so she was 4 days old.  I just use Baby D Drops from Amazon.  She doesn’t seem to love the taste, but if it’s mixed with milk she doesn’t notice.

Yes, I do 1ml every day, plan on doing it until the bottle runs out. Our ped recommended the Enfamil brand since it was the easiest to find. It was the yellow box one, not the one with all the other supplements. 
Apparently it tastes good because my baby looooves it, like a treat lol.
