Would you change it? (Read description)

Let’s say there’s a name you absolutely love! You google it and find a page that has comments on the name... the majority of the comments on the name are negative and NOBODY out of all those comments likes the name.. do you keep the name or change it ?

If I read reasons that made sense as to why they didn’t like it, that may alter my decision. But if they were just like “no, dislike, not for me” then it wouldn’t bother me.

I would have to say it really depends on the name and also why you chose the name. Just because some people don't like something doesn't mean you can't.

I’ve always loved the name Holden but saw a poll on this site last year that most of the people said it reminded them of a cheap sports car in Australia🤷🏻‍♀️ I had my son in December- he’s Holden Jospeh and I couldn’t picture him with any other name!

Nope we are naming our son Paxton (it’s a family surname) and every online thread I’ve read there have been thousands of comments saying the name is hideous, too trendy or sounds made up and not a real name etc. Lol people can be vicious. I could understand if it was a ridiculous name that a child may be made fun of for, or a name with odd spelling that doesn’t make sense but a lot of people just like to voice their shitty opinions.
