Too long?

My husband and I are expecting our second daughter and plan on giving her two middle names like our first. Our first daughters middle names are Dawn Lynn, after my mom and MIL. For our second we like Alexandra Leigh, after my brother (his middle names Alexander) and sister in law but I feel like it might be too long :-/ Opinions?

Why not combine it into 1 like Alexie. Is it more important to represent them both or to have 2 middle names?

Go for it! Names don’t need to match for number of names or for length. My older sister has 3 middle names. My younger sister and myself only have one each. 🤷‍♀️

My brothers and I all have a second middle name, because my mom didn’t want to drop her maiden name or hyphenate. My kids will have the same second middle name that we do, because it’s *really* important to me to carry that name on.
The name is Lincoln, and after getting married my last name is significantly longer- but that hasn’t changed my feelings about it. It’s important to me, and my husband likes it... that’s all that matters! 💁🏼‍♀️

It really doesn’t matter you very very very rarely spell out the whole middle name ...

I wasn’t going to use two middle names (my husband hated the idea before our son was born), but I seriously struggled between two names when pregnant with our daughter...she ended up being born on his great aunt’s birthday (Joyce), so he suddenly thought that having an Aria Elizabeth Joy was pretty amazing.
