Middle name dilemma!!!! Please read!

My fiances name is Joel,

Backstory here is his mother's "family name" is 'Joel', as in it's been incorporated and used in all of his mother's side. Whether it be surname or middle name.

It originated as a surname within their family and was moved to a middle name etc.

Anyway his mum stopped adding it into her kids names when she had my fiance, because he was her first boy and she actually named him Joel (first name) so she didn't add it into any of his younger brothers names.

His older sisters have the middle name Joel.

Anyway.

We had a son almost 12 months ago and we called him Jordan Joel because he kept going on that he needed a "Joel" somewhere...

Now we are expecting another baby and he keeps going on and on and on that no matter what gender the baby is, the middle name will be 'Joel' - now I'm not against doing it again if it's another boy. But something inside of me just doesn't want my baby girl to have the name Joel in her name 😂😂😂 Am I being selfish?

Help me out with some advice 😂
