Did anyone go without a epidural during a induction

Hey ladies! I’m being induced Monday and I’m very familiar with the induction process because I have done it with my first born. Well with my daughter I had no choice but to get the epidural because I went 14 hours without it and I never dilated past a 1/2 a centimeter because you body was under too much stress. Well I hated the epidura, it diddnt hurt but I hated not being in control of my body. I couldn’t move my legs or anything. I would really like to go natural this time, any success stories with going natural with the pitocin?

I have not personally birthed without pitocin, however I had to wait for the anesthesiologist for like two hours during pitocin contractions. I was shaking & crying & I have a really high pain tolerance.

Nope the pain was too bad and my body was so tense I wasn’t progressing. Once I got the epidural and was able to relax I started progressing. I had no problems pushing and didn’t care that I couldn’t feel my legs it was better than feeling the pain lol. Plus I had all back labor too, worst pain in my life and I have a high pain tolerance. I got her out in a couple pushes too took like 10 mins.

I was induced at 36 weeks and i got started off with cytotec at 10:30am  and and only dialated to a 5 theough out the day and my contractions werent regular so they put me on pitocin at around 1am and my contractions were tolerable. My water ended up breaking by itself at 6:30am and thats when the really bad contractions started and at 8:37 am i had my babygirl. I didnt have an epidural. The only thing i used was the gas to help with the contractions and tbh it didnt help at all. It just made me fall asleep. I dont regret not asking for the epidural because the nurses forced me to walk around and thats what made me start to unvoluntarily start pushing. I loved having control of my body and being able to feel my legs and to be able to push my baby out because i had that control over my body. It hurts, like really bad. I was in labor for 21 hours and im a ftm. Good luck to you mamma♥️

I have been induced three times with out epidural and it was perfect every time obv  bloody hurt I’m being induced Monday and plan on doing the same
