Experiences with Zofran?

Question

Is anyone taking it or have you taken it with previous pregnancies? What are you experiences, good or bad? I just got is prescribed but I’m nervous.

Thank you all for your comments! After puking my brains out last night I got over my fear and took it. MIRACLE DRUG!!! I am going to use it sparingly but I’m so grateful to have this option. I cant believe how well it worked.

I'm on zofran, nothing else works. My vommiting was severe so I'm taking it to get by. Better then having dehydration and no nutrients. My dr has no issues with zofran

My ob and my high risk doctors will not give zofran due to birth side effects. They give diclegis. Diclegis can be made over the counter using 10mg each of unisom and vitamin b6

I took Zofran with my first pregnancy- and my daughter was born very healthy! However, my dr told me to only take it sparingly- so I only took it when I was really desperate. This pregnancy I’m taking bonjesta- thought to be safer than Zofran. The nausea is gone- but it makes me a bit sleepy.

I was maxed on Zofran and Phenergan with Unisom and B6 last pregnancy and my daughter was born perfect. She’s now 5 and we have no issues (other than her attu😂)

Zofran for my first two and they were completely healthy babies. Now 3&1, excel on all milestones. Just got prescribed zofran again for this baby. 3 different OBs also and they all said it’s just fine.

I’ve been on zofran since week 6. My doc didn’t seem too worried about prescribing it. Saving me nauseas wise. But be careful it constipates you!

I lived off of zofran in my first pregnancy mind you it was 11 years ago. If I wanted to eat and keep down my food it was my only option. My daughter turned out just fine.

I love it , it helps me so much with my nausea. I have hyperemesis so it’s really my best friend.
