Canned Tuna??

Omg i have been craving tuna sandwiches for the last few weeks. I want to devour tuna at the moment. I’ve eaten two tuna sandwiches in the past 10 days. Is it safe? I read to limit canned white tuna. But how the heck should I know what 6oz is. I guess I could read the Can size 🤦🏽‍♀️! pregnancy brain. Even so, is it really harmful? Wha about pre cut and packaged dry salami sandwiches??

I eat 1-4 cans a week. There really is not much Mercury in canned tuna.

My doctor told me that canned tuna, once a week was fine since most of the mercury has been filtered out. Fresh tuna or deeper sea fish tend to have larger amounts of mercury in them. She also talked about sandwich meat, but I don’t remember since I don’t eat it anyways. You will be fine just eat in moderation.

ANY deli meat should be heated. For tuna, my doctor told me last year that Albacore white tuna is fine in moderation. It was also one of the few things I could actually eat lol

I eat everything, I’m on my 3 rd baby now, not eating it, but pregnancy wise 😂
Tuna subs from Subway are something I eat on a regular basis, and bologna sandwiches daily unheated. Just eat the food and try not to stress, I also eat an alarming amount of sushi.
