Unfortunately, we found out Monday, after seeing our sweet baby with a strong heartbeat the week before that we were having a miscarriage. It was devastating, and we decided to go ahead with a d&e to help us move through this quicker. We don’t want to simply forget our baby, because even after the short time, we were in love. We decided to take the ultrasound picture we had on our fridge, and the first onsie we bought and take it to build-a-bear. We put the ultrasound picture in the bear, and dressed him with the onsie. It feels nice to just have something to hold. We plan to try again, and will put this bear in the nursery with our baby one day to allow his brother/sister to watch over him/her. I never thought when I got that positive pregnancy test that this is where I would be...but I am believing that there is a reason and a plan. To any other person going through this, I am so sorry. ❤️
