Birth control mini pill or IUD ? Experiences please

I need to switch my birth control. I am currently on the mini pill. Told my doc since the beginning that I always tried and this jovilette doesn’t work for me so I needed the brand name cause I have used it before and it worked. So no got the generic. For the third time I want to stop but Mainly cause I am seining lots of weigh lots of it! It’s getting out of hand also because my cycle hasn’t come to a normal. I bleed suddenly like every other week or less. I am extremely tired but I don’t want to get pregnant 🤰 so I need reliable birth control. The implant I wa told it’s side effect are horrible so I am thinking of the copper iud. What is your experiences and which birth control did you use and it’s successful and your happy ?
