Anyone else have this problem?

I am currently 8 months post partum with my second child. Both of my babies were emergency c-sections for completely different reasons. My question is does anyone else have this over hang of skin? Its makes me so self conscious about my body and they way I look. Even after loosing the majority of weight it still makes me look crazy.

It’s normal hun to have over hang only downside to c-sections it gets worst the more kids you have as you skin is more stretched. I didn’t have any with my 1st then my 2nd c-section it was more noticeable and with my 3rd c-section its a little worst. I’m 6months pp lost all my baby weight on my belly but still have the excess skin. Don’t think you can do anything about it unless you go down the surgery route.

Please be careful with ab workouts! Do a DR check so you don’t make it worse trying to get rid of the ‘shelf’

I feel like they cut you to high. I have a c section scar and its below my panty line. I have a chunky belly so I have the crease anyway. Dont let it bother you, it's part of your story and bringing your babys into the world.

It’s gonna take some dedicated toning to get it down.  I’m a huge fan of Jillian Michaels.  All of her workouts work on Abs but she has a few that are specific for abs, I suggest checking those out.

See with my first two C-sections I didn't have the Shelf at all because the incision was very low like right on top of my vagina this C-section they did it up quite a bit higher I feel like that makes a huge difference

I'm only 10 days pp, had 3 vaginal but my recent 4th was c section. I have swelling in that exact spot. I went from 150 to 130 already and now I'm afraid as thin as I am (normal for me) I will have that as well. I'm not done healing obviously but its pooch in the same are as your pic

Look into csection massage. It can help break up the internal adhesions inside that are holding your scar in internally.
