Sooo frustrated!

So Im 12 weeks pregnant and yesterday I noticed a horrible smelling discharge. It started hurting really bad today so I called the on call nurse and they told me to go in and get checked out. Turns out I have bacterial vaginosis, and they said anything that disrupts the ph balance could cause the infection. I come home and I went to the bathroom. I had noticed a floral smell in my bathroom for a couple days. It turns out my toilet paper is scented and I am 99% sure that is what threw me off. Same brand I normally buy so I didnt think to look for anything different.
