Emergency c section?

I had my son a month ago and after pushing for 3 hours with no real progress we had to do a c section due to his heart rate dropping. It all happened really fast and I was curious as to weather it would be considered an emergency c section? They never told me and I was to out of it to ask.

I have come to realize that if it's not a scheduled c section that it's considered an emergency C-section!!! With my first I had one because they said it was safer then using the suction but nothing was wrong with baby!! I had pushed for 3 hours and he got stuck!!

Shit they had my man scrub up for a “controlled c section” due to excessive bleeding with my water breaking and my girl ended up flat lining inside utero no one even told me it was an emergency and I didn’t even know it 😭 I had to do it all alone I spent the entire time waiting for my man and he never got to come in :( 
But yes babe that’s an emergency c section!

Yes, the heart rate dropping happened with my son (so I refused to be induced, was sent to hospital for BP originally) & my papers show ‘emergency c section’
