Bassinet recommendations???

Question

Looking to buy a bassinet for baby to sleep in beside our bed for the first few months. Which bassinet do you have and why would you reccomend it??

We used the uppababy bassinet that clicks into the stroller. It's so nice coming back from a walk and being able to just pop the whole thing onto the stand without disturbing him. The stand also is a nice height for our very high bed.

We love the Halo! Just not very portable and takes up a lot of space with wide feet. It’s incredibly sturdy and very safe!

I plan on getting a Halo bassinet. They are a tad expensive. About $200. But I had a Moses bassinet with my first and it was great but not very tall. I think it will definitely be worth the money for what I’m wanting

I love our halo because i can reach in and pat his tummy or get the paci back in his mouth without getting up. It's also really nice to be able to swivel it out of the way to get in and out of bed, extra nice after a c section. The night light and music functions are wonderful add ons. I use the night light multiple times a night.

Arms Reach Clear Vue, could literally put hand on her while laying in bed, it was a very comforting distance. We could unclip it from the bed and roll her out to the living room whenever we wanted. We used the storage area underneath and really miss that with her current crib.
One challenge was finding sheets that didn't make the flimsy pad buckle, but in the end American Baby Company sheets worked out for us.

Love gracco pack n play! Its bigger than most bassinets so check to see if you have enough room but if you do it's awesome. Can be used up to 15 pounds and then you can take our the bassinet part and continue to use the pack n play I believe.

We bought one from deltas children because they are all thoroughly safety tested and certified. The Halo is as well. Try and look for something with a firm mattress and no padding. Vibration is ok. But if it is on a rocker I would stay away from it because it doesn’t give your baby technically a flat surface and they can roll and suffocate. It’s ok if it has a light rocking mode that’s on a timer though.

Our daughter slept in the Halo Bassinet. We had the Luxe Plus, but I believe all of the Halo bassinets are great.👌🏾 It was as if our daughter was in bed with my husband and I. It was really convenient back when she was waking up at night for nursing sessions. It also has a floor light, which was convenient, especially when paired with the Hatch Baby. Also, it has a storage caddy on the side, which was convenient for my husband since he had diaper duty at night. I would highly recommend the Halo, we LOVED it! Once she outgrew it and began flipping and rolling, she started sleeping in one of her pack-n-plays until we were comfortable enough for her to sleep in her nursery.
