Lacey

Hello👋

My name is Lacey and I’ve been dating my current boyfriend for a little over one year. Everything is great between us but we argue about little things often. For example, I’m trying to lose a few extra pounds. I count my calories (1200) and do light exercise. Such as, going to the gym and running a mile or two, or even light exercises at home a few times a week. I weigh in everyday but sometimes forget because I have morning class. My boyfriend makes me feel like I do nothing and that I should be doing more. I’m only trying to lose about 15 pounds by the fall semester. Which I can totally do, but I haven’t seen much progress this past month. I just want him to tell me he’s proud of me and encourage me to do more. But he usually tells me I need to do more in a way that makes me feel like I do nothing since I haven’t seen progress recently. When we argue about this I always feel self conscious about myself. He always says he wants me to lose weight so I can look and feel better about myself, and to stop making it so deep and to just do it. I know I’m trying, but he makes me feel like I’m not. This I literally the only thing that we argue about that makes me truly upset. Any other little things I could care less about. What should I do/ what are your options? Thanks ❤️
