Pumping question

So when I pump I get my let down, get about 1 oz combined in 5 mins and then no more drops of milk come out. I think it's because it's taking some time for my second let down?

What I end up doing is stopping after 10 mins and hand expressing for 5 mins which gives me another 10ml max and then go back on with the pump but then I don't get a second let down??

Does everyone get continuous drops of milk coming out? I get nothing after the 5 min mark and am confused.
