She didn’t buy a gift or help with the baby shower in anyway his sister didn’t even come... I don’t know why their so unsupportive I’m starting to think that they don’t like me but my hubby just says that they’re selfish.

It’s rude for sure, especially if they came to the shower. If they’re going to use the excuse that they’re not obligated to get your baby anything, you can always say you’re not obligated to let them see the baby. It probably sounds harsh, but some people need that kind of harshness to get their heads out of their ass

Trust your hubby. Don’t take it on yourself to judge whether people like you or not... that just leads to you feeling bad about who you are. Trust your hubby. It’s his family... he knows them best. Just shrug it off and move on with life.

Honestly as the parent it really is your responsibility to get all the tings your child needs IF people get you things they are gifts a baby shower is only supposed to be for celebrating the life of the baby a lot of cultures don't even do that until after the baby is born and gifts aren't usually a thing either.
