Full bladder for anatomy ultrasound?

I thought I remembered having to have a full bladder for the big anatomy ultrasound in my previous pregnancies, but I realized they didn’t mention it this time around. What has your experience been?

Anything after the 12 week the baby is big enough to see without a window, I have to go every 2 weeks and they make me empty before

I remember having a full bladder for my other children 10+ years ago. With this one, they always want an empty bladder 🤷🏻‍♀️

I remember having a full one for my now 10 year old...when I went in for it with my almost 3 year old, they told me my bladder doesn’t need to be full, and to go empty it. 
But they didn’t mention before the appointment that it wasn’t necessary to have a full bladder. 
🤷🏻‍♀️
But I agree with other comments, way easier to empty it than to get it full.

I’ll be 19weeks but they still want me to have a full bladder for mine.

Full bladder for me they gave my instructions an hour before empty bladder and drink a certain amount before 30 minutes before appointment I go in Monday

I think that’s just for early pregnancy. They should be able to see the baby for the anatomy scan. I went for mine today and peed halfway through. Made no difference.

My ultrasound tech made me empty my bladder before she would do the scan. Said it can push the baby back if it's full
