Birth of Aniya Charlette

Ok, so now I’m on day 3 with my baby girl. I finally have time to tell my story. Monday June 10, 6:00 in the morning got up and got ready for my scheduled induction at 7:00. I was 39+ 3days. pregnancy went great no complications, but I was at the point of I needed her out I was constantly uncomfortable and Braxton Hicks were kicking my butt. So fast forward I got to the hospital, didn’t get taken to a room until about 7:30. By 8:00 I was check still 1 cm about 15% effaced. They inserted Cytotec, no unbearable contractions, when they came to check again at 12:00 I dilated 2cm and about 60% effaced, they inserted another dose of Cytotec. About an hour later the unbearable contractions started to kick in so they gave me some pain relief(stadol). Meds don’t work good for me, apparently I was cursing people out, telling personal secrets, anything you think I could’ve said I said it. Then at 3 the stadol wore off, at this point I’m crying through the contractions. I didn’t want to get an epidural at this time scared that it’s going to wear off by the time I had to push. At 4 they came back in and checked me, only 3 cm and 80% effaced. They were now going to start the Pitocin, I agreed to get the epidural before they started it. When the epidural kicked it only my right side went going numb. It took about an hour for my left leg to go numb. I still felt the left side of my vagina. Around 9 my water broke and when they came to check I was 7 cm and 100% effaced. Only 1 hour on Pitocin and I dilated 4 cm. So they turned off the Pitocin to see if I would dilate on my own. At about 9:30 my water broke. The nurse told me that when I felt like I had to poop let her know. Keep in mind I still felt the left side of my vagina. So I let her know multiple times and she figured it’ll fix on it own. During my labor baby girl’s heart rate would drop slightly with my contractions. So every few mins the nurse would come and shift me. At about 11 I started feeling like I had to poop, the nurse checked and I was 9.5 cm dilated, 100% effaced. Fast forward 19 contractions, 40 mins later at 11:43 Aniya Charlette was born. I felt everything on my life side, ring of fire etc, I tore 2 times inside of my vagina and 2 outside on my inner lip.
