Yes. I had both my girls naturally. However, my doctor did suggest “local anesthesia” which was an injection vaginally when i started pushing. Best decision ever!

My first was unmedicated. Labour was 5 hours all up. It was too quick for me to have any pain meds (even though I was begging for something). The pain didn't kick in for me until after 8cm and they broke my waters as my bag was coming out intact while I was pushing. Our bodies are amazing what they can do... hasn't scared me off from having a second 🤪🤪

I had a natural non medicated birth and I was in labor for 20 hours. It was the most excruciating pain I’ve ever experienced but I will do it again for this child. My only tip to myself is to wait longer before going to the hospital. The best thing is to make sure you have a supportive partner who won’t pressure you into medications. Also have a doctor that knows you don’t want anything going in.

I haven't done fully natural births but I tried with both. The first I was induced and did not have a very good support system and it was very difficult despite the fact that I had done Lamaze classes. The labor and delivery nurse with that baby said the only time she saw people successfully do all natural births was when they were practicing hypnosis which I had never even heard of. With my second I made it pretty far without any medication. I think it was only a half an hour that I actually ended up being medicated so I made it through some pretty tough contractions. I had an awesome Midwife and much better support system at that hospital then I did the first time around and I completely credit them to the reason I made it as far as I did before opting for a spinal. I will try again this time to go all natural knowing that I almost made it last time I think will make it that much easier for me to mentally prepare myself. Having a good support system makes all the difference because they knew when to change things up and try a different pain technique and knew the different things to suggest that could work when something else wasn't working.

I had my son naturally, with no meds at all. I had hired a doula and took a hypnobirthing class upon recommendation from my SIL. The hypnobirthing was useless as was my doula (when I called her in labour she informed me she was out of town camping). The pain was excruciating, but I made it through with no meds and I was proud of myself for that. Unfortunately I ended up with a 4th degree tear, so after it was all over I still had to get an epidural because they rushed me into surgery. Overall I'm glad I did it naturally, and i would do it again, but I will likely get a c-section this time to avoid another 4th degree tear.

I had my daughter natural, no meds at all. It was the fasted experience and the most rewarding. My labor lasted 2 hours from my water breaking and 1.5 hours from first contraction only thing that scared me was the pushing and the contractions weren’t that bad trying to hold your baby in during them is the problem I started pushing just a little through them and it felt so much better then I had to hold her in again and wait for the doctor who still didn’t make it. But overall I was energetic after and didn’t feel any pain other than the shakes I got directly after having her guess the hormones raging through your body.

I had no meds, at a hospital with a midwife. The hospital has one tub to labor in but it’s first come first serve and someone was already using it when I got there :-/ but I sat in the shower a lot.

I delivered my son 2/14/17 naturally in a birth tub at hospital. Planning on doing the same this pregnancy 🤗
