How many of you crazy think like me?!

My cycle is normally 31-35d. Today is 36. Temp still high. Tests are negative. And it’s been 3yrs and my hubs just had surgery and we barely tried on the “right days” so there’s no way we are pregnant. So I try to tell myself “you’re just late. Wait it out. Don’t get excited”. 
But you still get hopeful anyways? I just know my heart will be broken AGAIN in a couple days. Sigh. I guess I’m just looking for a little support and to let anyone else in the same boat know they aren’t alone.

You're not alone!
My husband and I have been trying for 2 years. AF is usually pretty punctual for me, but sometimes she decides to arrive a couple days later. Actually, right now she's coming up on two days late, so of course I think it's a possibility! But I feel the pms cramps (which I optimistically think of as implantation cramps) and will probably will be bummed when I wake up in the morning to find the crimson tide has come in. 😪

This is so me!! Even when I know it's most likely not possible to be pregnant, I still get my hopes up. I don't know why we do these things! Just know you are not alone. My husband and I have been trying for 14 months now, and we have considered giving it a break recently. It is so hard!! Any way you can try to distract yourself? Xx
