Baby #2 is here! ❤️

So baby girl is almost 2 weeks old so i think I should tell our story now 😁

My pregnancy was stressful. Here is a summary of what happened

20 weeks: diagnosed with a partial previa

23 weeks: had a placental bleed

30 weeks: was told my placenta was now considered low laying ( 0.7cm away from the cervix, needed to be at 2cm for a vaginal birth)

38 weeks(at this point I have a c section scheduled) : placenta is 1.5cm away from cervix

Since I still wasn't at 2cm I had to go through with the c section

I went in at 7:30am on June 3rd for my scheduled c section and waited till 10:30am to be taken back to prep for surgery. They had my husband waiting outside of the operating room all scrubbed up till they were ready for him to come in. I go in and they do my spinal which wasn't bad but it wasn't the most pleasant thing. Then when the doctor was ready she checked to see if I could feel pain and I couldn't so she called for my husband to come in. He was a trooper. He pet my head the whole time and told me I was doing great. At the time I didn't realize but during the procedure I started to feel the pain. I didn't feel the initial incision but I felt the tugging and in a way it was sore. When the baby was out and they started to put me back together I was in full blown pain. I started to hyperventilate and was having trouble breathing from the pain. The anesthesiologist gave me morphine and oxygen which calmed me down and the pain went away.

Seraphina Diana Rose Montoya was brought into this world at 11:47 am weighing 7lbs 7oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.
