How many weeks for gender ultrasound?

I’m debating doing an ultrasound with a private company to find out the gender a little sooner. I would be 17 weeks. Has anyone had it done that soon and was it accurate?

My friend found out her third was a boy at her 13 week scan. Whereas mine, the sonographer was “pretty sure” it was a boy at 21 weeks but couldn’t get a clear shot. He was,indeed, a boy but I wasn’t convinced until we did our 3D at 28 weeks. Just depends on how clearly baby will let you see!

I found out at 14.6 weeks and it was confirmed last Wednesday when I was 17 weeks on the dot!
Top was 14.6 weeks
Bottom was 17 weeks

I got mine at 21 weeks🤕 but they say they can 99.9% confirm baby’s gender by 16 weeks and even earlier with blood testing so I’d say yesss
