How many diapers + pre folds?

FTM here! Aside from knowing that I want to cloth diaper, the world of cloth diapering is completely foreign to me. 
How many diapers and liners do I need to start off? 
Any other tips/tricks anyone is willing to share about cloth diapering would be much appreciated😊

Hmmm... we have 8 thirsties size one covers and probably around 25-35 prefolds. You can use the covers a few times between changes, just give them a wipe. Newborns will go around 15x a day so you’ll want at least 30 prefolds imo. We waited about a week to start cloth until her meconium poops cleared out.

With covers and inserts, I have never needed more than 18 inserts. I can get by on 6 covers but 8 is much better. YouTube is a good source of tips and tricks. It helps to see visuals of how people do their routines.
