Milk problems

Bry

hopefully someone in this group could help that has maybe gone through what I’m going through. This is going to be a really long post but this the only way to get someone to hopefully understand.

Let’s start off by saying my daughter was born in March she was provided similac pro advance at the hospital & we kept with that formula for about a month. she started getting super colicky with it so we ended up switching her to nutramigen. she started having really bloody stools so I call her pediatrician and he told me to go to the hospital which I did and they ran a stool sample and an x-Ray. after getting those results they came to tell me everything was normal and that the reason for her having bloody stools was probably her formula and for me to get it changed with her pediatrician so i said okay & they ended up discharging me. Well I went back to her pediatrician the following day and we changed her formula to elecare he said if she continues to have bloody stool take her back to the hospital because something isn’t right so after 3 days of being on elecare she still had bloody stool so I took her back to the hospital and they put me in a room and one of the nurses came and asked me what’s going on and that she was going to check her computer from the last visit which was 3 days ago so as she does that she eventually comes back and tells me that her poop sample that she had 3 days ago came back that it had an infection mind you they told me all her results came back “fine”. I told her well nobody ever mentioned that to me and that’s why she’s probably with pain and bleeding and guess what they did nothing ! except tell me that the infection would go away on it’s own and that it was probably her milk causing the infection in her stool so I figured they’re doctors they know better then me im no doctor so I said okay. i took her back to her pediatrician the next day and the hospital never mentioned to him about the infection in her poop and he basically thought i was lying and that whatever is going on with her isn’t cause by that and he referred me to a GI doctor. Well fast forward we are now in June and instead of her getting better with elecare after giving it some more time like they insisted she has just been non stop crying and full of gas you can tell it in her tummy & on and off with blood in her stool. Well she ended up getting sick on us just last week which needed a hospital visit and they of course took a stool sample and a x Ray and a sonogram. the doctor showed me her x Ray which showed her tummy full of air which wasn’t normal he said & her sonogram came back normal and her poop sample came back that she had an infection in it so this infection they claimed would go away has been in her system since April. ridiculous I know guys! they told me they couldn’t do nothing in that hospital so they transferred me 2 1/2 hours away to a different hospital. We get to the hospital and they do the same results and they tell me basically the same thing “ it’s normal to have infections in their poop” lol so I’m arguing back and fourth with the girl and they just say everything is fine and that no GI doctor in that facility could see her so I end up leaving and taking her to a different hospital and same thing nothing can be done that all I have to do is wait for the GI appointment which is next month in July. So I’m all of options right

✨✨I know you guys arent doctors before I get that comment but just wanting to see if anybody in this group has gone through something similar with their son or daughter and can give some advice on what they did or what.
