Husband told me to stop being so emotional.

I think I just need to get this out to someone who knows what I’m feeling. We have a toddler she’s not quite 2 yet and I’m due July 24th. My husband owns his own company so he can get busy most of the time with emails phone calls and traveling out of town up to 2 weeks at a time. I asked him to stop traveling at 34 weeks just to be in town and help me when he can with our daughter. He then has decided to run a food truck for the next 2 weeks with some buddies. (His buddy used to own and operate one, so that’s where this idea started). It’s a short term deal but it has taken him away from helping me... I am a stay at home mom so I have been exhausted by the time dinner rolls around and need help with the end of the day. My husband said he would not leave to work the truck until our daughter goes to bed. Which was a good plan, it would allow him to help me get her dinner, bath and into bed. But he hasn’t stuck with that schedule. He left before she was even fed dinner the other night, and then doesn’t get home until 2am after they shutdown. Yesterday on Father’s Day he said he would go get the lunch rush going and try to come back. He left about 11am and came home at 10pm. Not one phone call or text to let me know he wasn’t going to make it home at all. And then the real icing on the cake is he can’t handle me being upset. He told me to stop being so emotional. So that’s neat! So I feel like a crazy person arguing the same thing over and over and getting nowhere. He took our daughter out this morning and told me to go “do whatever I needed to do”. To me it’s a show, because I got mad he wasn’t helping, look at me now being the best dad while mom has a breakdown. I told him I was considering anti anxiety medicine after this pregnancy, because he can’t handle my emotions. Oh better believe he won’t have me doing that. He wants me to just be this passive quiet person. Welp sorry not sorry this is who I am. Emotional passionate communicator!
