“Just” Slightly High BP?

I’ve had a very normal, non-eventful pregnancy so far and I’m 37 + 5 today. My BP read 146/88 and 136/91 today. No other symptoms or swelling etc. I left a voicemail with the triage nurse but is it cause for concern if not accompanied by other symptoms? Last BP at my dr apt was 114/56.

Those numbers are considered hypertension in pregnancy so what they will/should do is test you for preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome (blood and urine labs) to make sure it’s not affecting you or baby. I’ve been in that BP range since 28 weeks and have gone in weekly to be monitored and so far so good. But they should def watch that. I’m 35 weeks tomorrow and will be induced at 37 weeks due to those numbers alone—even if I still haven’t developed complications or other symptoms.

Mine has hovered between 130/80 and 140/90 my entire pregnancy. I'm 38 weeks this week and my midwife hasnt been overly concerned. I think they will monitor it a bit more closely over the next few weeks, but theres.no other signs of pre eclampsia.

My blood pressure was slightly high for me at my last appointment. They noted it but didn’t make anything of it just told me to keep an eye out for any symptoms like headaches that don’t go away. And that they would take another look at my next appointment

I was told to go to the hospital from my appt for 150/89. It eventually dropped to 128/64 yours seems fine.
