My son will be 8 months on the 26th, on May 31st he had a small surgical procedure on his lil 🍆🏀🏀. He’s slept in his crib since around 4 months he would sleep on his own up until 4/5am then I’d bring him to bed with me to get extra zzz. He has the OWLET sock. After his surgery It was recommended we keep an extra eye on him the first two nights because of the anesthesia so he slept on my bed the first two days from the time we put him down for the night. The days after he would be in his crib and when he would wake up crying with tears I wasn’t sure if it was because of the pain or because he wanted to be with me but because I felt like a horrible mom because of the surgery I would let him sleep with me. Now the only way he sleeps is literally by my side and I mean by my side, he HAS to be touching me. Once he’s asleep I’ll lay him on his own, away from me he will get up and scoot all the way to me. If I go to lay him in his crib he cries hysterically. He takes all his day naps in his crib so I’m really confused his day time naps are anywhere from 45 mins to 1:30/1:45/2 hours. Please help me, I need sleep! How do I get him back to crib at night? I’ve let him cry a max of 3 mins lol I’m his crib my heart can’t do anymore.
