Pronunciation

Stephanie

So I have one little girl who is 7 called Amélie Harriet (named after my favourite french film) now due a little girl in October and wanted a French name to match I’ve picked the name Éponine Joy. I absolutely love it and so do my family. My mum thinks tho that people are going to pronounce it all wrong cause it’s quite unusual/uncommon. Thoughts?

*EDIT* The correct accent is the agiu accent as written in my post, the accent on the baby grows are due to the girl who makes them not having the means to put them in the opposite direction,I decided I’d rather have them “wrong” than not at all being that they are so small but yet still significant in it being a french name. My daughters name is Amélie but regularly gets invitations or things from school saying Amèlie,I’m just quite happy it’s not forgotten.
