I’m the Godmother of a...

So on Friday my best friend (practically sister) got her 20(ish) week ultrasound and she came to tell me what she was having. I am officially the godmother (and adopted auntie) of a bubbly bouncy baby boy!

I’m so happy for her! She was told for years she could never have kids until she was finally told she had been misdiagnosed by 10 different doctors and that she could have kids, but it would take a lot more tries. We found out together in March after taking her to the ER because she felt sick and was constantly throwing up.

Literally 12 hours later we’re back in the ER with a dog bite and I almost flipped on her nurse. She (my friend) said she was pregnant and the nurse just wrote it down and was getting irritated with me for trying to keep her from going into shock! She had the nerve to tell my friend “I love Darrian and all but she needs to know when to stop talking.” Ya...I work with her and when she gets grumpy with my coworkers I wanna spout it off but I bite my tongue.

My friend and her fiancé agreed if I hadn’t been there that day she would’ve lost the baby. Here’s his lil picture 😍
