Long labour but she’s finally here!

So, Friday June 14th was my due date, no sign on baby on that day, but the Wednesday before that at my dr app he told me that my blood pressure was on the cusp of being high, so he sent me for a NST on Friday morning at 11. I get their and everything seems good, baby’s heart rate is totally fine, no sign of stress on her at all, but my blood pressure is high, so they test my urine, and it was positive for protein, so the nurse sent me up stairs to labour and delivery for them to check me over. They decided because it was my due date already they might as well start the inductions process, because I was only 1 centimetre dilated, they inserted a foley balloon, and sent me on my way Friday’s afternoon, went home, finally had what I thought were contractions(FTM so I wasn’t sure what I was looking for) I said to myself around 8pm that I should probably get some sleep because it’s only gunna get worse from here, so I slept, right until 6 am, woke up went pee and had to have a poop and ended up pooping out my balloon, was told to go back to labour and delivery for 8am and they would check me over, at that time they were short staffed like crazy, and had 3 other inductions to do, so they had to prioritize them, they checked my blood pressure and it was okay, they checked my cervix and I was sitting at a 4 and a half centimetres dilated. They ended up sending me home, and told me they would call me later that afternoon. I go home, didn’t have any noticeable contractions, and the hospital calls me at 3 pm and said to come in for 4. Me and hubby go back up and they check me right away,’blood pressure is pretty high positive for +2 protein, so they break my water at 5pm, I didn’t have any contractions on my own, they ended up starting oxytocin drip to help, and by 8pm I was having contractions every 2 mins apart, and ask for an epidural. they come check me around mid night, and no change, checked me 2 more times no change... I was exhausted! They took blood work from me and noticed my liver was in stress, so they stopped the oxytocin’s drip, and started magnesium drip asap, after 2 more hours of no oxytocin they wanted to give it another shot before rolling it to c sections, and Shane this time it worked! It took 7 hours but I was finally fully dilated, and was able to push, I pushed for less then 45 mins, the down fall, she got stuck, her shoulder, so they were doing everything they could to get her out, witch was SUPER SUPER painful, but they managed to get her out with no injury’s! She was finally born at 229 pm on June 16th weighing 9 pounds 6oz and 19 and 3/4 inches ! She’s perfect!

Also, I’m still at the hospital, and might have to stay till wed, but my liver is looking better and I’m finally off the iv drip and not having a catheter 🥰
