Period length
I got a mirena placed about 2 weeks ago at my 6 week PP exam. I wasn’t on my period then but got it about a week later, it’s been a full 7 days with a fair amount of bleeding. Has anyone experienced a longer period after having an IUD placed? I know spotting is a side effect for the first 3-6 months but this has been a period with no signs of slowing down.
