What are your newborn must haves/essentials

Second time mom here but wanna see what everyone swears by product wise! I wanna try a few new things this time around :) leave anything down below

This bassinet/glider. You can elevate the head if you have a baby with reflux, it has a white noise machine, it has a timer, it swings w/ multiple speeds ... it’s a dream.

These swaddlers. They allow “hands up” swaddle like when baby was in the womb. They can self soothe by sucking heir hands if needed.

This white noise machine:

Pretty much anything else would be your preference. Meaning each baby likes different bottles, different binkies, etc 
Water proof mattress pads and at least 4 changes of sheets. 
Tip: 
you will get TONS of receiving blankets. So many that you won’t use them all. They make for perfect oversized burp cloths. 
Binkie: look at your nipple when it’s hard. What does it look like? Big? Flat? Inverted? Small? Round? Try to pick a binkie that mimics your nipple (if you plan to breastfeed).

The best thing I got with my first was a Boba wrap carrier. I didn’t know a thing about baby wearing but we ended up using that thing on a daily basis and absolutely loved it! I’ll be getting one again for baby #2. We also used and loved the Rock n Play but unfortunately it’s been recalled, so still searching for something similar in its ease of portability. I found that the sleepers with button snaps were easier in the beginning because baby’s upper half doesn’t get cold during a change like with the zipper sleepers. I loved having a ton of the receiving blankets cause they have multiple uses. I would lay one on the ground for quick changes, use them as burp clothes, I always kept one on the changing table in case of accidents I didn’t have to wash the whole cover, and since I had got so many I kept a few everywhere, in the car, the diaper bag, at relatives houses, etc. I also feel like you can never have enough baby blankets cause some baby’s spit up so often you have to change them out a lot. I tried buying a white noise machine but the one I got was faulty and had to return it, then I ended up downloading an app version on my parters old tablet and we’ve been using it for over 2 years now. Our daughter is almost 3 and will remind us to turn the shush-er on before bed lol. The baby medicine syringes that come with every bottle of Tylenol, I kept every single one cause it’s easier to just keep grabbing a clean one then to rewash the same one over and over, plus I also used them to make tiny baby food pancakes when we started solids! If you have a smooth bottom bathtub I highly recommend a BabyDam, it’s pretty much what it sounds like and you use it to section off a smaller portion of the tub so you don’t waste so much water. Unfortunately I only got to use mine once then we moved to a house with a textured bottom tub.

I seriously didn't use half the crap we bought. The boppy pillow is by far my #1. We like our  Hatch our baby gym and our bouncer. we use the bottle drying rack and the crib.

Steriliser, bottle warmer, bassinet, dummies, healthcare kit, and a bouncer chair with a vibrating fiction on was a life saver for me, my little one didn't start using it till he was a couple of weeks old but he's loved it ever since
