My 20 month old has some seriously adorable cankles. But they are making it sooo hard to find shoes that don’t cut into his little fat ankles. The tongue of the shoe or the top strap hit him too close. The only shoes we have found to be comfy are the see kai run sneakers from Nordstrom’s. (Photo) I have been searching for some sandals for summer though and having no luck at all. Anybody have this issue too? Any recommendations for comfy sandals that are good for cankles while also being tough and protective- my little guy loves to run and climb. He’s around a size 5 if that helps too.
