We started potty training my daughter 2 weeks ago. She just turned 19 months back then. She was telling me every time she pooped/peed by words since she is 14 months old. She started to take her diaper off around 17 months and by 19 months she was fighting to not to put it back on, she hated it honestly. So we felt like we had to do it. So we Take the diapers off while she is awake but still keeping them during naps and sleeps. Here how it goes;

- She refused sitting on potty the first day

- She stared understanding the expectation in day 2 &3 but kept having accidents more than 3-4 time during the day.

- By the end of first week the accidents dropped down to none or one. Her willingness to sit on potty also increased with still some protestation

BUT,

- We are about to end second week now; she is still having accidents once or twice a day- it feels like things are not progressing or progressing very slowly

- She can hold her pee very long cause she is still kind of refusing the use potty especially if we go out. She either holds it as long as she can or pees on herself. We made her pee in travel potty or public restrooms 3-4 times so far.

- Poop is the biggest issue. She is waiting to be in diapers to poop most of the times. Since yesterday we made her poop in potty twice though. But each time she was visibly uncomfortable and resistant.

- Her nap diapers are very dry at this point and morning diapers are not as crazy full as before but still nothing close to being dry.

I was wondering if anyone out there is going through this too..?
