12 weeks and subchorionic hematoma ??

Question

Went into my 12 week scan and everything looks great. I have a small hematoma she (my dr) said and I’m not sure what it Really means. She didn’t seem worried so I’m trying not to be, but does anyone else have any advice or have had this before as well? Also we find out next week what we’re having 😁😁

I had one and bled lightly for a few weeks. It finally stopped close to 2 weeks ago but when it first happened it was super scary !

I had a heavy bleed last week at 13 weeks.. they think it was a SCH. If you do end up bleeding try to stay calm (I know this isn’t easy) and call your doctor to see what they say. You may fall into the category that doesn’t bleed though 🙏🏼

I had one and bled for two weeks because of it - it disappeared on its own by my last scan. They seem to be pretty common and don’t usually seem to cause many issues.

I had one with my last pregnancy and had 3 bleeding episodes. If you do spot or even have heavy bleeding just get checked out. I had 3 heavy bleeding episodes, but everything ended up ok.

I’m 12.5 weeks and I also have a subchorionic hematoma I’ve had it since 7 weeks. It’s slowly going away
