I need your opinion.

Generally speaking, I do have suffer from low self-esteem because of childhood issues. So, I tend to get defensive very easily.

The issue is that my husband says this to me almost Every day, “you do not understand anything, you are an idiot!”.

He loves me for sure and cares about me and all but I cannot stand the idiocy part.

In fact, I started taxing him for every time he used the “I” word. And the bill reached $1000 in 3 weeks or so at the rate of $50 per Idiot. No need to get excited, at the end of the day, we share all our money so I did not really make any new $$$.

Do you think he is being normal and fair?

How do I deal with this and prove to him that I do have a high IQ.
