Why the baby bump

Guys I’m 16weeks and I was wondering why ladies have such high And round baby bumps (above belly button) if baby is still super low (below baby bump) . Have our intestines and stomach been pushed up? Sorry to ask a stupid question.

It’s because the uterus is stretching to accommodate our growing babies and it’s outgrowing/ has outgrown the pelvis and now sits higher up in the belly. Which means that it’s pushing other things higher up.

Also you have to remember that most moms are on their second and third. I'm 16 weeks today and have had a bump for quite a whole now. Muscle memory is real. These pics were taken yesterday at 15 weeks 6 days and I'm pregnant with baby number 3

Well with me the stomach is being pushed up and when ever I eat it definitely gives me more of the baby bump look 😂

The uterus is also getting bigger and theres so much in there including baby that's expanding,

This was my belly at 14 weeks and you can clearly see the uterus popping out. It's my third baby, my OB said baby is very high and the heartbeat was below my belly button  which she said is unusual, but not impossible. Eveyone carriers their pregnancy different
