Anyone else??

Has anyone else had excruciating pain in their hips? What have you done to soothe it? And best sleeping positions.

I’ve had issues with mine since before pregnancy. But right now I sleep with a bump wedge on one side and a sm rolled up blanket on the other side, and pillows between my knees. Epsom salt baths can help. Massages from your partner, Yoga/ stretching- cat/ cow, happy baby, pigeon (love pigeon), squats, lunges (using a chair or stool etc... I learned a cpl things at my labor and delivery class that your partner can help with: one you sit on a chair feet flat on the floor, knees slightly apart, back up against the chair and good posture, have your partner gently push your knees straight back. 2nd one slightly lean over a chair/couch back or you can use the wall and have your partner put a hand on each cheek, squeeze together and lift- love this one- it release so much hip pressure.

So I ended up with that super bad last pregnancy, didn’t go away after birth but I dealt with it for a year. Got pregnant again and it started getting awful again and went to a Physiotherapist for pelvic floor... OMG I wish I had done that 2 years ago. Not the most pleasant experience but definitely effective!

Apparently it disappears after birth!
I only get it sleeping on my sides at night (yes infuse a pregnancy pillow and/or pillows between my legs/knees) but its still awful. So I've learned to sleep sitting up (first in my bed with a giant pillow behind me) and now we moved the recliner chair to help (though I dont recline it)...so half the night i sleep in the recliner chair...which gives me an hour or two of sleeping in the bed in my sides before I repeat the process lol.
I have also seen an osteopath which helped a lot!
