Anyone doing the NIPT at 9-10 weeks??

I’m wanting to have the NIPT done at 9 weeks to not only find out if my baby has any abnormal chromosome, but also to find out my baby’s gender! 
Anyone done it? Or going to do it as well?? Anyone opposed to it? Why?

We aren’t going to most likely just for the fact our insurance doesn’t cover it and we want to save the $. The test from what I hear isn’t a definitive answer to anything anyways. But I could be misguided. We didn’t with our first 2. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had it with my first because I was 35 and considered mature aged, will be doing it again with this one as well.  I’m an anxious person, so it helped to alleviate my worrying. 😊

My husband and I have decided not to, because no matter what we’re keeping our baby and will love them 💜 good luck though! Keep us updated (and no judgment on anyone who decides to do it)

We will definitely be doing this, but not to find out the gender. I really want to wait and be surprised at birth! 
We are getting it because I’m 36 and I will just feel better with some screening. 😊

Hello!!! Please tell me me more about it. I’m definitely interested but haven’t heard about it. I would keep my baby no matter what but i would like to be prepared for anything and have all the time I can to study about the condition if there is any!!

No unless I was high risk over the age of 35 or some other issue I would.
Sometimes it’s better to know if you are high risk and what to expect if there is an issue.
But we aren’t - wasn’t around 4 years ago with my daughter so I’ll be fine. We are finding the gender out either though! Make sure you verify with insurance first - I work in OBGYN and a lot of people get upset when they find out it’s not covered lol
