We bought this house last summer from the first owners. They lived here for 13 years before us and didn’t give a crap about sanitation or insect control. Since then, we’ve remodeled it, have pest control come to spray (outside) every other month, and have a cleaning lady come every 2 weeks (plus me in between). It’s in great shape now (thank God), but it’s summer time and I know the annoying bugs like spring tails and black spiders are trying to find their ways in.

My question is, would it be safe to get the inside of the house sprayed within the next week or so? Would it be enough time for the chemicals to clear out before the baby gets here? (Due 9/8). And how long should I stay out of the house? (I can stay at my mom’s or MIL as long as need be).

Sorry for the paranoia. We were going through the remodeling/pesticide process last June before we lost our son. So I think my PTSD just wants to make sure it’s safe or not. Thank you, ladies♥️
