Vegas with baby?

My SO and I have been planning a trip to Vegas in Oct and our daughter will be almost 1. He really didn't want her to come but I told him I'm not going without her and he kind of left it alone, but recently have been getting advice from other people who all say don't bring her to Vegas.

I don't see what's the big fuss. We are just going to sight see, eat out, catch a show, whatever else we find. Neither of us drink so that's not the issue. We will only be there for 3 days and I'm never away from her for even 3 hrs (also breastfeeding and doubt she'll wean by then).

Anyone ever took their baby to Vegas and still had fun?

At this point he wants to call off the trip and honestly I would rather do that than leave my baby for that long.
