D&C after Baby being Born

I had my baby yesterday at 1:22 p.m. and got discharged at 5:00 p.m. the next day. And at 6 pm I passed 2 large blood clots and my husband rushed me to the ER and we left baby with his mom and dad. And turns out I had a piece of placenta left inside my uterus. The D&C was one of the scariest things I’ve gone through only because I’ve never had been out under any anesthesia before. Now I really miss my baby girl and can’t stop crying. I can’t wait to see her tomorrow :(
