Whooping Cough Vaccine

I have a friend who is 8 months and 1 wk pregnant. Even tho I haven't been pregnant in 10 years she has been coming to me for a lot of advice, it is her first pregnancy and she is scared. I'm one of the only friends she has right now. Anyways, she asked me today if I got the whooping cough vax while I was pregnant and it being so long ago I really dont remember. I just wanted to know what everyone's thoughts were on it. I did a little research and all of it said there are no risks to the baby.

P.S. we are both vaccinating parents (she plans on vaxing her son and I did with my son and will continue to do with future babies) so pls dont turn this into a judgement post. I respect everyone's opinions to do what they think is best for their child pls respect ours.
