I know this isn't quite what you're asking for, but have you tried taking her to a store and letting her pick something out special for bedtime? My daughter has a toy box full of stuffed animals and she can pick one out for naps and bedtime. It's awesome because if one goes missing she usually doesn't notice.

Carter's has a lot of those. I've seen one that looks just like that there 2 days ago, my son has the tan/white puppy one and uses it for comfort. They have a lot to choose from too
