Depo shot?

Have any of you used the depo shot? If so how did it work out for you? Did you have any side effects? 
I have my 6 week pp checkup on Wednesday and I still don’t know what type of birth control I want. I don’t want to get pregnant any time soon😬.

I haven’t had it for many years but I gained a ton of weight on it and had horrible mood swings. I would never go back to it. I’m getting the Nexplanon implant back in this week.

I had lots of weight gain and while I didnt bleed is get horrible cramps. And of course theres the fact I got pregnant with my daughter while being on it that was a bit of a shocker.

While no periods were awesome and I loved the weight gain, I’m small so it looked good on me to have some weight, I hated that it made my hair fall out so badly everyone kept asking me was I stressed or was something wrong with my hair and while I wasn’t my doc said that was one of the side effects..after growing my hair out for 3 years from having a pixie cut I was not departing with it like that so I got off it

Good birth control. My only problem was no periods an weight gain.

I didn't like that I didn't get my period regularly on it, but that's the only side effect I had.
