38w and possibly having contractions ?

I'm sitting here breathing through what I believe are true contractions. With my first my water broke and i never had contractions on my own or felt them due to epidural. I was 1cm for awhile with my first and with this one I'm 3cm and almost completely effaced. My stomach is so tight everytime and they definitely hurt down low and sometimes in my back.  Please tell me these are real??

Start timing them. If they are happening every 5 mins for about an hour I would go in.

I went into L&D for hours last night with really bad false contractions and ended up having to come home 🙄🙄

You sound just like me! With my first my water broke and I had to have pitocin to bring on the contractions and get dilated. This time I’ve been having contractions on and off for weeks and I still don’t know when it’s go time.
