Work shower

Soooo usually when we have a work get together for an individual they leave the person the party is for off the email chain. So I didn’t get an email yesterday... but the young girl I’m training asked me a question. I rolled my chair over to her desk and sat with her. She had the darn thing up on her computer. I had to pretend not to see the email. Email said it’ll be a small to do this week... I’m like jeez girl! Why wouldn’t you minimize this. Now I have to act surprised (I’m a terrible actor) in front of 30 odd people.

*sigh* I feel like she’s missing the mark here... constantly telling our boss that I haven’t told her anything. So I made a handbook that she can reference with pictures, red arrows and circles on where to click on the computer to complete tasks. She just doesn’t get it. Guess this is job security for me?

So glad we only have a few more weeks left. I’m over it and ready to welcome my little one to the world.
