Post egg retrieval bloating?

Hi ladies!
I had my egg retrieval today :). They collected 19 eggs! E2 levels were okay at trigger- 1652. But now, about 9 hours after retrieval I am feeling very bloated and uncomfortable. I weigh about 3.5 pounds more than I did this morning, but otherwise okay (no nausea, no extreme pain). Is this the beginning of OHSS or just normal post- retrieval?

You want to be drinking plenty of fluids and urinating frequently and another thing for me is the bowel movement. Had retrieval yesterday. And the doc should followup to see how you feeling. But call them so it’s doesn’t get worst

I would call the doc to let them know. I had mild OHSS & it was terrible. Are you drinking lots of Gatorade? Prob @ least 8 ounces ever hour. Best wishes

I would call your dr now!!!! That sounds just like it and you want to get a hand on it before it gets any worse, trust me it’s miserable and it sucks

Might be normal bloating but try and get your doc to give you Dostinex/Cabergoline and get an ultrasound done to check if you’re leaking fluid into your abdomen and measure your ovaries. They should also check blood levels for electrolytes and other indicators. 
I felt totally crap after ER but it wasn’t OHSS, although I did have OHSS before ER. The doctor told me bloating is expected for 3 days or so.

It’s the three pound you’ve gained in a day that worries me. Call your doctor ASAP.
